HARD WAY STUDIOS

IF WE DID IT ... WE DID IT THE HARD WAY!
Almost everyone has picked up a comic book and read it. I have owned my fair share of them, and I’ve always been in awe of the technical illustration work. There’s a lot that goes into the making of these beautiful creations, from initial concept to actually getting them on the shelf. Hard Way Studios was formed around 2006 by Chris and Dwayne, founders, after they had been doing freelance work for some small companies. The freelance work was going nowhere, so they decided to start their own studio and just do things their way. They began to accept submissions and have grown to more than twenty members. The members are from America, Canada, and England. The studio itself is in Spruce Pine, North Carolina.
Recently, I had the opportunity to use the services of Hard Way Studios–Dwayne Biddix and Chris Carpenter. These guys are extremely talented. They have several comic book series, like The Supremacy and Morbid Myths, which are out and for sale. Due out Halloween 2009 will be Suicide Note, 72 pages of some creepy comics, and then, in 2010, they will have Genotype Prime The Earth / Sol System War and House at the Edge of Nowhere.
These guys are some very busy artists. We got lucky to utilize the services of these talented fellas, and you can check out our “Crazy Monkey” online to see the quality they produce. Want to see the comic books online? Go to their website at www.hardwaystudios.com and see these talented artists and to order a copy of a comic that interests you.
