Amelia's Mechanics Inaugural Tour Announced
Amelia's Mechanics Embarks on Regional Headlining Tour March 11
After performing a string of dates in support of Jill Andrews and Mike Compton & Joe Newberry in early 2010, Amelia's Mechanics hosted a sold-out launch party celebrating the release of their debut album at the Blind Tiger in Greensboro, NC on Feb 12. The all-female, Americana music trio's self promoted "North, South" Launch Party sold more tickets than any other performance in the 21 year history of the Blind Tiger. On March 11 at the Pour House Music Hall in Raleigh, NC, Amelia's Mechanics embarks on a regional headlining tour in support of their debut release "North, South" produced by Jim Avett. The band's inaugural tour takes them through North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia and is supported by the following radio stations: WDVX, WNCW, WUNC, WKNC, WUIN, WQFS, WUSC, WDWG, and WRMT.

BRIEF BIOGRAPHY:
Amelia’s Mechanics is an all-female, Americana music trio whose instrumentation and vocal harmonies traverse classical, country, and jazz genres resulting in a sound best described as vintage country with a moonshine concerto. The band, whose name, debut album title, and lyrics are inspired by the accomplishments of early aviatrix and aviators, explorers and pioneers, writes and sings about the mechanics underlying life’s triumphs and tragedies. Amelia's Mechanics is Molly Miller (Lead Guitar and Vocals,) Kasey Horton (Viola,) and Molly McGinn (Rhythm Guitar and Vocals.)
